Directional Labs (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle data for our application, Directional Camera.
Our business model is simple: We sell software tools, not user data.
1. Data Collection and Usage
- No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit your name, email, contact information, or device identifiers.
- On-Device Processing: All sensor data (GPS location, magnetometer readings, gyroscope data) and image processing happens locally on your device.
- No Cloud Storage: We do not have servers that store your photos or location history. Your photos remain in your local Apple Photos library unless you explicitly choose to share them.
2. Location Services
Directional Camera requires access to your device’s Location Services to provide core functionality (displaying GPS coordinates and Altitude on the camera overlay).
- This data is processed in real-time.
- It is only saved to the metadata of the photos you capture.
- It is never sent to Directional Labs.
3. Third-Party Services
We do not use third-party analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel) in the Directional Camera app.
